My name is Michallie K. Harrison, and I’m proud to officially announce my candidacy for the Pine Hill Town Council, representing District 1.
I moved to Pine Hill in October 2023, not just looking for a place to live, but for a community to invest in. Since arriving, I’ve attended every Town Hall meeting I could, because I believe leadership begins with listening. Now, I’m stepping forward to serve this town and its people with the same dedication and accountability that shaped my career in the United States Army.
I am a retired Army veteran with 21 years of honorable service, including multiple combat deployments. Throughout my career, I held a variety of leadership and administrative positions that required precision, discipline, and strong organizational skills. I served as a platoon sergeant, an aviation operations supervisor, a unit logistical specialist, a chemical operations specialist, and later as a senior instructor responsible for training the next generation of noncommissioned officers. I also served as a combat reporter, documenting the stories of our soldiers and missions with integrity and accuracy. My time in uniform was more than a job; it was a lifelong education in leadership, accountability, and public service.
I bring that same mindset to everything I do. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a focus in History, Criminal Justice, and Administration. I’m currently pursuing a second degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Creative Writing, because I believe in the power of clear, transparent communication, especially in
I bring that same mindset to everything I do. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a focus in History, Criminal Justice, and Administration. I’m currently pursuing a second degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Creative Writing, because I believe in the power of clear, transparent communication, especially in government.
But beyond all the titles and experiences, I’m a wife and a mother. I’m raising my children to be engaged, informed, and proud of where they come from. That means being an example. That means showing up. And that’s exactly what I intend to do for Pine Hill.
If elected to Town Council, I will maintain an open-door policy where your concerns aren’t just heard, they’re acted upon. I will advocate for responsible growth, increased community involvement, and greater transparency in how decisions are made. I want to see Pine Hill thrive, not just survive.
This is more than a campaign. It’s a commitment. To listen. To serve. To represent. For the people of District 1, and for the future of Pine Hill.
Let’s get to work together.
The election is approaching fast and we’re making preparations. Don’t miss out!
